Melissa Peñate is the founder of Peñate Consulting LLC, bringing nearly a decade of expertise in procurement, government operations, and business strategy. As former City Clerk for the City of Lilburn, Georgia, Melissa built a reputation for leadership, innovation, and a meticulous approach to public service.
She holds a BBA in Marketing (Georgia Gwinnett College), an MPA (Liberty University), and is a Certified Municipal Clerk through the University of Georgia and IIMC. Melissa has completed advanced leadership and contracting cohorts and is proud to lead a certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB).
Active in her community, Melissa serves on several boards and has received notable recognition, including the Best of Georgia Award. Guided by faith, she’s dedicated to empowering clients, uplifting others, and delivering real results for organizations across sectors.
